Aukey Mini Drone: Review

Design

The Aukey (you can find on this page) is a drone made up of the most black  plastic with yellow and gray propellers. There are also small LEDs to turn on in the dark. The drone is very small (11.6 x 9.8 x 7 cm) and lightweight (90g) so much to be in a palm of your hand. It’s handy and pocket-sized, which makes it perfect for always carry with you. Technical Features

The Aukey mini drone does not have an integrated video camera, but this is quite justified given the drastically low price and drone size. Virtually in addition to not having the right space, it would not even be able to handle the weight of a video camera.

The remote control of this quad-rotor uses a 2.4GHz frequency with very short and precise response times, the maximum distance it covers is around 50 meters, although it is advised to stay below to avoid losing control by risking a collision.  The service life spans around 5/6 minutes while the USB charging times are around 15 minutes. It is a 6-axis gyroscope, which means it can move in 6 different directions.

Features

Above the remote control, there are three modes of flight (beginner, intermediate, expert), which you can choose as you wish on a flat floor that accumulates experience in drone driving. Always on the remote control,  you can find a dedicated button for the automatic start and finish of your drone so as to avoid sharp falls that could damage it. It is perfect for beginners. You  will not spend a big amount and especially if it breaks down, you will not have a big loss of money.

Behavior in flight

In flight the Aukey Mini Drone works well, it does not have special flight mode because of its very low price, but it is important to calibrate the quadcopter so that it can be as stable as it is used in flight.

It is recommended to use it in your home, even because it is very light, it would be enough for a wind blown to let you control and blow your drone into something, breaking the propellers or ruining the outside case.

Even better if used in a shed, you will have space and many opportunities to train you better. With a bit of experience you can also make 360° loops, so you can make your flying experience more fun.
